The Fabricademy program equips participants with hands-on experience in 3D modeling, design for manufacturing and prototyping within a Fab Lab setting. Participants will engage with topics such as biodesign, circular design, electronic textiles, wearable technology and biobased sustainable solutions. The curriculum integrates practical learning with systems thinking, helping learners to address current challenges in the textile and fashion sectors through responsible and regenerative approaches.

Fabricademy Program Details

• Scholarship Title: Fabricademy Scholarship 2026 BioLab Lisboa
• Scholarship value: Covers up to 50% of the Fabricademy Program Tuition Fee
• Applicants tuition: Scholarship winners pay the remaining fee before the program starts in September
• Eligibility: Open to students, creatives and professionals worldwide

Selection Criteria

• Previous Experience: Preferable in digital fabrication, 3D modeling, or wearable tech
• Passion and motivation: Eagerness to learn, document and share knowledge
• Open Source: Committed to collaborative and open design principles

Scholarship Conditions

• Minimum 85% attendance and review participation
• Completion of the course within the 1st Evaluation Round (April 2027)
• Adherence to program terms, conditions and procedures
• Commitment to 30 hours per week
• No deferral; discontinuation revokes scholarship
• All work and files must be open source
• Selected work may be published by partners
• Check additional eligibility for funding or visa if applying internationally

• Hold a Bachelor's degree or about to graduate
• Proficiency in English
